Master students of Electrical Engineering, Economics Engineering, Economics Science, Information Technology, Mechatronics and Computer Science.
Start of the course is in the week before the winter term 20/21 with the lecture Entrepreneurship. The module extends over 2 semesters with an expenditure of 15 ECTS (18 ECTS for economics students, who are pointed to their specific module handbook for detailed information).
The lecture Entrepreneurship conveys theoretical foundations as well as application-oriented competences of innovation management and agile system development methods.
Theoretical foundations are applied in a practice-oriented seminar and in different labs. After choosing one of three labs you develop an idea based on the provided technologies as a team. Your journey will end in a final pitch in front of investors.

You will have access to the electronic workshops at KIT equipped with numerous tools including multimeters, oscilloscopes, equipment for circuit design, power supplies and rapid prototyping facilities such as 3D printers. Your creative work is set at a space above the roofs of Karlsruhe.
After submitting your application until 8th November, you will receive your notification of acceptance at the latest on November 11th. The course starts in the week before the winter term 20/21 with the lecture „Entrepreneurship“ and extends over 2 semesters. Invitations to the general Kickoff event (takes place in the second week of the winter term) will be sent to the selected participants.
During the first semester you will attend the lectures “Entrepreneurship” and “Agile System Development”. A seminar and the practical applications in the innovation lab will take place during both semesters. The course finally concludes in a pitch at the end of the summer term.
